USDOT Biennial Updates are extremely important. So important that they are required by law. The FMCSA states that companies must update their USDOT information every two years. Otherwise, they could be fined (up to $1,000 per day, not to exceed $10,000) or lose the authority to operate. One of the highest reasons people get their USDOT number revoked is they forget to do a Biennial filing. Let Federal Carrier help with your USDOT Biennial update.
The USDOT Biennial Update is a registration form carriers have to sign every two years. The form you file is known as Form MCS150.
